We understand that it is important for parents to feel involved in every aspect of their child's life including when they are in nursery. At Pili Pala we value parent’s opinions and always welcome comments about our service.
Parents from time to time maybe invited to attend parent evenings, during which you can discuss your child's progress with their key worker. You will be given a questionnaire and asked to comment on the service we provide.
As well as Parent's Evening we have a Parent's Board which displays child friendly activities happening locally, all your comments and much more. Furthermore, we have a Parents Library full of informative books about children which you may take home and read at your leisure.
Parents will also be given the opportunity to get "hands on" experience of how children learn, through taking part in daily activities.
We agree with theorists like John Bowlby who studied the importance of the role of parents in the development of their child.
This is why we have developed our Daily Sheets to ensure that they are thoroughly informative. We have also developed a “Our parents can help us by…” section of the daily sheet, so you can continue elements of what your child’s has learnt at nursery, at home.
We are also going to start having bi-annual, informative and interactive parent’s evenings so you can learn a variety of different techniques that you can continue at home. You will also be able to have a clearer insight of the types of activities your child will participate in through out their day.
