Child feeding her doll with a carrot Child feeding her doll with a carrot

The potty training policy really helped me with potty training my daughter as it helped that staff were able to work with me and develop a routine and reward system to stop any confusion.

Our Policies

Special Needs Policy

Pili Pala Day Nurseries are dedicated to providing the same high standards of care for all children, regardless of their abilities.

All our Educarers are encouraged to attend various external training courses in areas such as:

  • Autism Awareness
  • Maketon
  • Special Educational Needs
  • Behaviour Management and much more...

Before deciding to place your child in our nurseries we ask parents / carers to consider the following factors:

  • Can the needs of your child be met within the existing daily routine of the nursery?
  • Would the location and access to the nursery pose a problem?
  • Would your child require further assistance than what is already offered?

To discuss any additional needs please contact the relevant nursery. The manager will be happy to discuss how we may be able to accommodate and support the needs of your child.

Positive Discipline Policy and Behaviour Management Policy

These policies state that:

  • Children should be treated with respect and never humiliated or discriminated.
  • Staff will always address children at their level, maintain eye contact and never point.
  • Children will be explained the consequence of their actions.
