A typical day at Pilipala

Our main aim for our children, is to support them to become independent and confident decision makers, completely in charge of their own learning.

Our session times

Full Day 8am - 6pm Morning Session 8am - 1pm Afternoon Session 1pm - 6pm

Our session times are very flexible. The times listed above are the earliest and latest possible times which your child can start/finish each session.

Our prices are fully inclusive and include all nappies, nappy creams*, meals, snacks and drinks. The only thing we do not provide is formula milk.

Activities are planned daily based on the individual needs of the child.

Our Activities

We believe that children learn by having “hands on”, real life experiences and by:

• Doing
• Playing
• Using their senses
• Repetition
• Taking risks
• Making Mistakes
• Having FUN!

This is why we have organised our settings and activity times so that children can be in charge of their own day and make their own choices. We call this “Open Access Play”.

Our Educarers encourage the children to participate in activities by making them look appealing and exciting. They do not lead the activities but play alongside the children to assist them with developing their skills.

Our teams plan all our activities based on observations and conversations with the children; helping the children enhance and develop their interests.
