I like the fact that Pili Pala offers the children a wide range of activities outside in the garden such as sand, water, painting and digging. Samara especially loved learning how to plant flowers and herbs in the nursery garden and she now wants to do this in our own garden at home.

The outdoors creates a whole new learning dimension, which is vital for all children to develop an understanding of the Natural World, such as the weather, temperature and seasons.

Our outdoor areas have been considerately designed to offer a range of real experiences to challenge and stimulate each child.

Our gardens include:

• Varied surfaces to provide different gross motor experiences.
• Planting areas for flowers, fruit and vegetables.
• Separate areas for active play with cars and bicycles.
• Areas for picnics and focussed group activities.

In addition, both nurseries are equipped with resources such as magnifying glasses and bug collectors, to enable children to fully investigate the outdoors.
